some days just don’t deserve space on the calendar

heard the other day about an icelandic child born in da usa. it was just above the average size for icelandic kids (a mere 70% of siggimus, at legendary time of birth) but the people at the hospital spoke of ‘the monster’

well, according to this, americans are actually starting to shrink, while europeans continue to grow (apparently, sometimes they have to leave the back door of ambulances in holland open to make room for patients’ legs…)

reason? apparently “eight million people with no job, 40 million individuals with no health insurance, 35 million living below the poverty line, and a population that exists mainly on junk food”

vs.

“in europe, there is – in most countries – good health service provision for most members of society and plenty of protein in most people’s diets”

which would you prefer?

that holidays make a siggimus feel like that?

why does he need to have 3 beers before he goes to bed despite a lengthy holiday & a fair good time?

a cosy candlelit meal (siggimus doesn’t think de lights is ever on during meals…) & of course conversation interspersed with a visit or two to the late henhouse for a bit of horticulture spiced with some budejovicke budvar

an ordinary (non-leap) jewish year has 12 months & 353, 354, or 355 days

a jewish leap year, on the other hand has an extra month & 383, 384, or 385 days

from what siggimus can gather, deir calendar currently says it’s year 5763 or 5764

can’t say siggimus envies calendar makers over der :/

& last time siggimus went to see him, he gave him this to chew on:

supposedly the purest & best ginseng you can get & siggimus is supposed to gnaw at it when the feeling arises

it don’t taste too great, so the feeling doesn’t arise all that often :/

but you can see siggimus’ teethmarks on the left side there if you look real close!
