08.59: first bus
09.07: second bus. siggimus realises as the wrong bus was driving off, that it was headed in the wrong direction. promptly got off
09.18: went on to take the wrong bus in the right(ish) direction. it took a slight & quite unexpected detour, making it painfully plain how wrong it was. so wrong was it that about 30 mins after siggimus left casa siggimusum, the wrong bus stopped about 300 metres from casa siggimusum, pausing there for at least 5 mins, as if to rub it in a bit
09.37: siggimus gets off bus, after an interesting scenic tour of some remote parts of reykjavik
walks a bit in the refreshing, if wet, drizzle. maybe 160 metres or so
10.00: seminar starts, without siggimus
10.04: siggimus gets on one last bus
10.11: siggimus gets off bus & enters newspaper printing press to search for seminar
…
11.30: seminar ends
11.37: siggimus: erm … will this bus take siggimus to ártún?
bus driver: well, eventually
12.21: siggimus arrives at work after enjoying the scenic route with the bus. siggimus is fairly sure he got to see parts of selfoss on the way…
this makes a total of 125 mins of travelling
& siggimus just got to work
