þetta er allt að koma!

went to theatre last night with colleagues. saw þetta er allt að koma! (e. i’m almost there!)

quite funny, & the set was simply ingenious 🙂

while most of the actors were good, ólafía hrönn & þröstur leó were undoubtedly the best. ólafía hrönn was excellent as toddler geysir þór, screaming ‘i want pizza!!’ at everyone & everything

while there was a lot of stuff missing from the book, that unique optimism & inane positivity so many icelanders suffer from was indeed there;

‘but i still wouldn’t have wanted to miss out on the experience’

-following an au pair experience in italy that included rape attempts

den off for a beer at hverfisbarinn with some of the gang, where írena pulled out a mobile phone & showed everyone pictures of what looked like a monster at first, but turned out to be that furry little dog of theirs, whatsername (karólína?) & another of a blob she maintains will turn out to be her & sibbi’s firstborn

drooled some more, reminiscing about that excellent violent femmes concert with petersen & vos (who also just put a bun in the oven, but didn’t have any blob-pics) & kjo & m & sith

eeek!!!

just got text message saying ‘see you at the theatre in 10 mins!’
