went to theatre last night with colleagues. saw \u00feetta er allt a\u00f0 koma!<\/a><\/em> (e. i’m almost there!)<\/p>\n

quite funny, & the set was simply ingenious \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n

while most of the actors were good, \u00f3laf\u00eda hr\u00f6nn<\/a> & \u00fer\u00f6stur le\u00f3<\/a> were undoubtedly the best. \u00f3laf\u00eda hr\u00f6nn<\/a> was excellent as toddler geysir \u00fe\u00f3r, screaming ‘i want pizza!!’ at everyone & everything<\/p>\n

while there was a lot of stuff missing from the book, that unique optimism & inane positivity so many icelanders suffer from was indeed there;

‘but i still wouldn’t have wanted to miss out on the experience’

-following an au pair experience in italy that included rape attempts<\/p>\n

den off for a beer at hverfisbarinn with some of the gang, where \u00edrena pulled out a mobile phone & showed everyone pictures of what looked like a monster at first, but turned out to be that furry little dog of theirs, whatsername (kar\u00f3l\u00edna?) & another of a blob she maintains will turn out to be her & sibbi’s firstborn<\/p>\n

drooled some more, reminiscing about that excellent violent femmes concert with petersen & vos (who also just put a bun in the oven, but didn’t have any blob-pics) & kjo & m & sith<\/p>\n

eeek!!!<\/p>\n

just got text message saying ‘see you at the theatre in 10 mins!’<\/p>\n
