a slightly crashed into car<\/a> wasn’t enough …<\/p>\n

a broken bike (a bit actually came off! – quite an important bit) wasn’t enough\u00a0…<\/p>\n

a dead tv<\/a> wasn’t enough …<\/p>\n

a laptop starting to pose as a paperweight<\/a> wasn’t enough …<\/p>\n

another dead tv<\/a> wasn’t enough …<\/p>\n

the (admittedly) ancient desktop puter has now decided to follow suit<\/p>\n

google effing body browser<\/a> literally killed it dead<\/p>\n

after some 2-3 mins of showing the wife (a nurse) the incredible magic that can be performed with modern technology, the prehistoric machine gave a hiccup, froze, started whining like mad, and a few mins later passed away<\/p>\n

(a moment of silence, please)<\/p>\n

to borrow a bit from a classic:<\/p>\n

it’s not pinin’! it’s passed on! this puter is no more!<\/p>\n

it has ceased to be! it’s expired and gone to meet it’s maker!<\/p>\n

it’s a stiff! bereft of life, it rests in peace!<\/p>\n

if it wasn’t a puter it’d be pushing up the daisies! its metabolic processes are now ‘istory!<\/p>\n

it’s off the twig! it’s kicked the bucket, it’s shuffled off its mortal coil, run down the curtain and joined the bleedin’ choir invisibile!!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
