siggimus hitches ride with keg’s taxi to his domicile, or rather tells keg as they approach his domicile that siggimus won’t be going downtown. keg tries to argue, but siggimus is adam ant<\/p>\n
eventually, siggimus wades snow up to his ankles, snow that had snowed in the past 3 hours, still in the suit from work & stuff<\/p>\n
reaching the door, it slowly dawns on siggimus that the keys needed for opening it, are not with him<\/p>\n
turning around, siggimus sees keg & taxi disappear <\/p>\n
instead of panicking, siggimus decides to call for another taxi<\/p>\n
11 minutes later, siggimus reaches cab company<\/p>\n
cabcompanywoman: ‘might take a while’

s: ‘how big a while?’
\n
ccw: ‘the ball will be over, toots’<\/p>\n
siggimus explains predicament & ccw promises to do her best to help<\/p>\n
24 mins later, a cab arrives from out of the snow & takes siggimus to work<\/p>\n
siggimus wades snow up to his knees to get in<\/p>\n
villi wakes up & laughs at siggimus, who takes the opportunity to change out of suit & into comfy clothes & sneakers<\/p>\n
den runs out to cab again to go back home, where a soft bed & a cranky parrot have been waiting for him all night<\/p>\n
the moment it struck felt like ages. all sorts of thoughts crossed siggimus’ mind before he dared admit to the cabdriver that the siggimus wallet was still in the back pocket of his suit pants, hanging neatly on a wooden coat hanger where he had left them not 7 minutes ago. siggimus contemplates offering cab driver his tv as collateral, but decides against it & asks him to drive him back again…<\/p>\n
so, an hour & approximately \u20ac35 poorer, siggimus finally gets in to be with the cranky parrot<\/p>\n
