visited for siggi hair & m\u00e1ni’s birthday<\/p>\n

as soon as health allowed, which was about 4 hours behind schedule<\/p>\n

did as bj\u00f6ssi har & called some neglected people during the drive. that handsfree crap has brought a few people from the periphery of siggimus’ life back into the limelight<\/p>\n

anyhoo, hemmi & siggi nes were there with women & juniors. egill was there, but left his brand new one at home. a dutch friend of siggi hair’s was there too. & of course katja, m\u00e1ni & ilse the au-pair<\/p>\n

then later on, siggi nes left & was replaced by g\u00fasti, another friend of siggi hair’s & his gf<\/p>\n

as is to be expected when visiting that place, drinks soon started floating & delicious meals were prepared & everybody sat outside in the great weather<\/p>\n

the conversation went around the world 3 times in a few hours and up for discussion were such diverse topics as the world price of aluminium, burning churches, the difference between killing shrimps and whales (the one in the ocean, not the sheep-shaggers), politicians; completely bonkers vs. just slightly insane, newspapers & cold porridge, & the solution to everything turned out to be damming every little stream, building an aluminium smelter next to it & of course a church<\/p>\n

today has felt like purgatory; siggimus has gone through hell &<\/em> damnation all in one go. probably wasn’t in any state to drive back home, with cash full blast; screaming to the songs, with the odd tear trying to squeeze forth<\/p>\n
