time sure flies when you’re having fun & cycling, eh?

cycle to work is upon us yet again!

this year, the only goal is to try and top last year, which was 400,82 km.

ctw 2010

it’s that time again!

cycle to work is upon us!

this year, the plan is to do at least 20 km every day, totaling a minimum of 260 km in those 13 days. that’s 6 extra km per day

(of course the topsecret goal, which siggimus will never ever ever tell anyone, is to go a bit over 300 km total. that’s just over 23 km per day)

here you can track siggimuses progress in achieving his goals, public or topsecret:

the 2010 full report is in!

below you’ll find all the juicy bits (read: uninteresting anal details) about which days siggimus cycled, how far & such

although the initial plan was to cycle all 14 days & all that, the cramped neck incident called for changes. so, now, with 12 days out of 14 gone, siggimus has managed 10 days, one of those on foot (that counts too!!)

& although siggimus is nowhere near the distances of some of the insanest, the current goal is to be as close to the team average as possible. was hoping to be above the average, but that’s looking increasingly unlikely

taking comfort from the thought that with 2 average extra days, siggimus would be slightly above the average :)

… or maybe not cycling to work :(

after spraining his neck, siggimus has missed almost a whole week! :s

fortunately, siggimus is only registered for 50%, so he only has to cycle 7 days out of 14 total. 8 days gone – 7 days left to get 3 times…

distances during cycle to work 2009

apparently, the goal is 25 km per day, 12,5 there & 12,5 back :s

post-thoughts

siggimus didn’t give up, after that ordeal & has kept on cycling like a madman (a madman that doesn’t cycle very often or very much, but still a bit)

here’s the latest statistics, counting everything from day one:
