siggimus has a new moniker at work

somehow siggimus managed to make a wee mistake, sending a few emails to a little mailing list with a wrong subject. instead of something about golf (don’t ask) it was something about gift certificates being the perfect christmas present

to warn co-workers of possible phone-calls or complaints, siggimus sent them a mail

siggimus ended the mail with some old fashioned fessing up; ‘siggimus wishes siggimus could blame it on technology or something, but the simple truth is that siggimus effed up big time’

a number of colleagues replied, wishing him happy holidays & such. seemed his disarming honesty overwhelmed them

anyhoo, next day, during lunch, ceo walks over, pats siggimus friendily on back & says, from now on you will be known as ‘stúfur’ (see pic)
